The demands of both sides differ widely. Iran rejects US conditions and calls them unfair. It does not trust the US. The US attacked Iran during past talks. The US and Israel also started the war when both sides neared a deal.

Weak Neutrality Position

Pakistan tries to stay neutral. It keeps ties with both sides. But this balance is getting harder. The war is expanding. Pakistan may lack the power to force talks.

Pakistan also has close ties with Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia is part of the conflict. This weakens Pakistan’s neutrality. Israel adds more complexity. It continues attacks and avoids peace efforts.

Donald Trump gives mixed signals. He talks about peace but threatens war. This creates confusion. It weakens mediation efforts. The crisis is the most serious since World War II.

Some signs suggest talks may hide military plans. The US has increased troops in the region. Reports suggest a ground operation soon. Tensions continue to rise.

Growing War Risks

Trump has mentioned control over Iran’s oil and the Strait of Hormuz. Iran still resists. It continues missile and drone attacks on Israel and US bases.

The war has caused heavy destruction. Reports accuse the US and Israel of war crimes. Attacks have hit civilian areas. Many innocent people, including children, have died.

Pakistan faces a difficult task. The power gap is large. Trust is very low. Mediation may fail under these conditions. Policymakers must understand these risks before moving forward.
