Change Its Nature: Some stories teach lessons that stay true across time and places. One famous story is the tale of the scorpion and the frog. Other versions include the scorpion and the tortoise or the farmer and the viper. The story says that no one can escape their true nature. Even if change could save them, they still follow their natural behaviour. The writer argues that Israel acts like the scorpion.
